MARVEL VS. CAPCOM INFINITE (XBOX ONE, PLAYSTATION 4)
Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite[a] is an upcoming fighting video game in development by Capcom. It is the sixth main entry in the Marvel vs. Capcom series of crossover games. Like previous installments, players control characters from both the Marvel Comics and Capcom universes to compete in tag team battles. Infinite features two-on-two fights, as opposed to the three-on-three format used in its preceding titles. The series’ traditional character assists have been removed; instead, the game incorporates a tag-based combosystem, which allows players to instantly switch between their two characters to form continuous combos. It also introduces a new gameplay mechanic in the form of the Infinity Stones, which temporarily bestow players with unique abilities and stat boosts depending on the type of stone selected. The game is planned for release in September 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows.
Infinite was announced during Sony‘s PlayStation Experience event in December 2016. Capcom initially lost the use of the Marvel license in 2012, after The Walt Disney Company decided to focus on self-publishing its own gaming titles; however, Capcom was able to reacquire the license after Disney dissolved their console gaming division. Infinite was designed to be more accessible than previous Marvel vs. Capcom games, resulting in several changes to the series’ fundamental mechanics. The game also features a larger emphasis on storytelling, with the series’ first cinematic story mode. The plot follows the heroes and villains of the Marvel and Capcom universes, who must work together to save their merged worlds against a new threat, Ultron Sigma.

DRAGON BALL Z FIGHTERS
PLAYSTATION 4, XBOX ONE, PC
The gameplay borrows concepts from several other fighting games, primarily the Marvel vs. Capcom series’ control scheme and team mechanics. Players each select three characters to form a team. One character is controlled, and can be switched with one of the other characters at any time. Players can also call one of their other characters to perform an “Assist” move, allowing simultaneous attacks and combos with the entire team. All three of the opponent’s characters must be defeated to win the game.
The universal “Vanish” and “Dragon Rush” moves resemble the Roman Cancel system commonly found in Arc System Works games and Guilty Gear Xrd‘s Dust attacks respectively, while the “Super Dash” move resembles the Homing system of Arcana Heart. Players can also “Ki Charge” to manually increase their super meter, similar to previous Dragon Ball fighting games.
